Your Guided Walk
“My time is your time”
I take great pride in creating a wonderful and unique experience for all my guests.
In our initial communications, we will discuss your specific details (such as the number of people, age ranges etc) and any particular interests (such as historical period, architecture, etc.).
Each walk can be between 2 to 4 hours, depending on your wishes. A good start time for the morning is 10am and 1pm for the afternoon. All day walks usually run between 9:30am and 5pm with a break for lunch.

Itinerary 1
- Spectacular 17th Century Churches built by the talented Sir Christopher Wren
- Medieval streets
- Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley
- Charles Dickens’ favorite Inn
- Secret gardens
- The Bank of England
- The Guildhall, the jewel in the City’s crown
Stories will include:
- The birth of London
- The plague and the Great Fire of London
- Trade, coffee and slavery
- Elizabethan gentlemen and writers
- City traditions dating back to 1189
Itinerary 2
Highlights include:
- Smithfield, used as a market and a place of execution
- A burial ground favored by Queens of England
- A secret retreat for postmen
- A hidden Roman Wall
- The modern city - 20th century architecture
- The Old Bailey – the Central Criminal Court
- The best view of St Paul’s Cathedral!
Stories will include:
- Roman London
- Tales of the Second World War
- A court jester turned church builder
- Henry VIII
- Body snatchers
Itinerary 3
A walk along the Thames Pathway.
This walk would take us along the river from one end of the City of London to the other finishing at The Tower of London, which dates from 1066.
We would keep to the riverbank, taking in the sights on both sides of the river.
Highlights include:
- 5 Bridges including London Bridge and, of course, Tower Bridge
- 2 lost rivers
- Roman wharves
- Lawless Southbank
- Shakespeare’s Theatre
- London’s fish market
- The Great White Lady
Stories will include:
- Maritime tales
- Legal London
- Ancient trade guilds and their strange and wonderful traditions
I also offer a chauffeur driven Tour of the Highlights of London Town, the London outside the City Boundary, otherwise known as the West End.
Highlights included:
- Buckingham Palace
- Trafalgar Square
- The Palace of Westminster and Westminster Abbey
- National Art Galleries
- The Royal Parks
- Famous shopping streets
- Streets and squares dating back several hundred years
- The magnificent River Thames and its views
